Water Absorption, Sorptivity and Permeability Properties of Concrete Containing Chemical and Mineral Admixtures

چکیده

Concrete durability, especially in water-logged environments might not be possible with conventional constituents of concrete. A combination mineral and chemical admixtures different proportions is used to study water absorption, sorptivity, permeability behavior The test were carried out using nine (9) trial mixes Calcined Clay (CC), Sawdust Ash (SDA), Crystalline Based Admixture (CBA), Superplasticizer (SP). results showed that treating concrete 5% CC + SDA+1% CBA gives optimum performance terms sorptivity reduced absorption value 4.60%. While the coefficient when SDA are added mix separately, reactivity between their (CC SDA) significantly increased demonstrates production right admixture pozzolanas improve durability structures.
